Calhoun Super Structure is elated to announce its No. 347 ranking on The Globe and Mail’s annual report of Canada’s Top Growing Companies (out of 425 selected). Since 2019, The Globe and Mail – a premier business brand – has ranked independent Canadian businesses on three-year revenue growth. Calhoun secured its ranking with a dazzling growth margin of 106% over the last three years. Last year, Calhoun ranked at No. 397 (out of 430), with a growth margin of 69%. This achievement continues to solidify Calhoun’s position as a competitive, trustworthy force in the fabric structure industry.

With impressive growth over the last three years, Calhoun continues to meet the demands of our clients while serving a myriad of industries – from aviation to fertilizer. Since being recognized last year, Calhoun has opened an additional 10,000-square-foot manufacturing plant to keep up with demand.

“It’s an honour to be named as one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies for the second year in a row,” remarked Dan Dalzell, Director of Sales and Operations. “We’ve seen significant growth over the past few years, from our ever-growing dealer network to the expansion of our manufacturing plant.”

When asked about the future, Dan optimistically commented, “It’s a very exciting time at Calhoun. We’re definitely planning for the future, and I’m looking forward to seeing our goals become a reality. I’m confident that Calhoun will continue to grow, evolve, and expand.”

Rank Determination

Canada’s Top Growing Companies is an editorial ranking that aims to recognize, celebrate, and encourage daring entrepreneurial achievements by identifying the most innovative Canadian businesses. This voluntary report ranks participating public and private companies based on their three-year revenue growth.

Applicant companies must submit a ballot, complete a full application, and provide supporting financial documents. Importantly, companies were required to have at least $2 million in annual sales in the most recent fiscal year. Further, every company had to be for-profit, independent, and Canadian-run.
