After extensive research, Calhoun Super Structure was chosen for their dry fertilizer facility upgrade due to its superior corrosion resistance, unique side-entry orientation proposition, exceptional ventilation, and quick installation compared to traditional buildings.
In collaboration with Greenfield Contractors LLC, Calhoun Super Structure provided CHS with a comprehensive solution for dry fertilizer storage totaling 3,000 tons. This included three storage bins, a corrosion-resistant concrete foundation, and mesh vents for superior ventilation. This setup effectively eliminated all dust, mold, and mildew concerns, creating a healthier environment for their product and workers. The unique side-entry portals further ensured hassle-free fertilizer storage and separation.
