Town of Hermon, NY

The Challenge:

The Town of Hermon was storing and mixing their salt and sand outside which meant dealing with all the headaches, and waste, of exposure. They wanted plenty of indoor storage space that not only had space for storage and mixing in the winter, but also space to store plows in the summer months.

The Solution:

The spacious 60 x 60 HT Series fabric structure salt storage building was built with efficiency in mind. In the first year, over 100 tonnes of salt and sand were preserved by using the new structure. In addition to the savings which are anticipated to pay for the building within four years, the Highway Superintendent for the Town of Hermon was “200% happy” with the customer service the Calhoun dealer, Hybrid Building Solutions, provided before, during and after the building was constructed.
