South Central FS
South Central FS chose to have a Calhoun building installed due to the numerous benefits it offered. Calhoun’s Super Shield rubberized coating spray applied to all trusses and concrete walls, in combination with the hot dip galvanized trusses, was a huge selling feature to South Central, as it drastically lengthens the life expectancy of the building. In addition to the affordability, the natural light from the polyethylene fabric roof, and the non-corrosive building materials used keep South Central’s employees and fertilizer safe.
Growmark Fertilizer
With a quick installation, and a great ROI, the side by side 120 x 320 and 65 x 144 VP series buildings have exceeded this customer’s needs. Calhoun’s hot dip galvanized trusses are also coated in Super Shield rubberized coating spray, which is an added layer of protection against corrosion from the ammonia. In addition to the ROI obtained from the Super Shield coating, the keder fabric panel roofing system will be a low-cost replacement in 15-20 years.
Pinnacle Agriculture
Calhoun Super Structure, in partnership with Greystone Construction, took on the project and constructed an ideal solution according to Pinnacle’s specifications. Construction of the 130 x 188 VP Series building started in January and was complete by March.

Town of Clarence, NY
This sturdy 72 x 100 HT Series fabric structure salt storage building was built within days and in time for the winter season. The concrete foundation and walls provide a durable and environmentally-sound solution for salt storage. With the added height of the HT Series, more than one truck can easily deliver salt within the structure thus maximizing the amount of salt that can be securely stored. In addition to the building cost savings in comparison to steel or wood frame buildings, lighting costs are also minimized as the fabric cover enables the use of natural light during the day.
Town of Hermon, NY
The spacious 60 x 60 HT Series fabric structure salt storage building was built with efficiency in mind. In the first year, over 100 tonnes of salt and sand were preserved by using the new structure. In addition to the savings which are anticipated to pay for the building within four years, the Highway Superintendent for the Town of Hermon was “200% happy” with the customer service the Calhoun dealer, Hybrid Building Solutions, provided before, during and after the building was constructed.
M. Ford Personal Farm
A new, larger CC Series fabric structure 42′ x 144′ was the best solution for the customer and the building was installed in record time. Two and 1/2 days after starting, the new fabric structure was ready for use. The customer noted the great air-flow the structure provides was a key feature along with the natural light.
M. & G. Pletsch Personal Riding Arena
This VP Series fabric structure 80′ x 144′ was an ideal solution. Calhoun’s engineering for this building far exceeded the specifications needed for insurance yet retained the look and feel of a traditional barn. Built over a decade ago, the customer still raves about the return on investment they enjoy as a result of their purchase. They claim that the fact a Calhoun dealer is right in their area gives them the peace of mind that should a question arise, Calhoun is right there to help.
Lakefront Farms Inc.
A 42′ x 96′ CC Series fabric structure was the best solution and the pricing was “right there” in comparison with other solutions. In addition to the built-in ventilation, the customer loved the laminated posts, bright interior, and high roof.
